Mrs. Davis requested PTO to fund $4000.00 of the $15,000.00 needed to get this in MMS. Incentive Program      Jane announced this new incentive program that has been developed by a new committee including, Mrs. Davis, Christina Sapp - PTO member, Kaye Richman, Terri Hunter, and Karen Wiggins. Others that are included are those students who are well disciplined in classrooms and who are attending school everyday with exception of excused doctor appointments. Jane asked PTO members if they were interested in fuinding this incentive program for at least the first nine weeks of school even though will have no way of knowing how many students will be eligible. Mr. Bell could not attend meeting

Pat Davis reported above

Officer Seagle Officer Seagle had to leave meeting before he could give his report. It was decided then to let Mr. Bell, Officer Seagle, Mr. Bonard, and Mrs. Davis to give their reports at beginning of PTO meeting in case they need to leave early.

Gear Up Mr. Bonard made his office available to the PTO since the noise level is so high where we meet now. Mr. Bonard reported that each year the Gear Up program returns money to the Federal government that has not been used. He asked that Gear Up be given more opportunities to fund special programs. It was noted that the PTO and Mrs. Davis will check with Gear Up about funding any requests that PTO has approved at this meeting before PTO gives this money out.

Next meeting will be Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Mr. Bonard's classroom, out in a trailer, ask office for directions.
